performance space. The new construction adds a small fly house, scene shop and
related support spaces.

facility is a 90 foot tall atrium with a heliostat. The challenge raised by that is access to
the mechanism of the heliostat for ongoing maintenance. ACD’s scope was to design a
lowering system for the heliostat that allows it to be installed and maintained at floor level.
