"Noises Off" comes to mind, but I'm not sure what they show for rigging. "Charlie's Angels 2" has a scene on a stage. "Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back" maybe? And there's at least one Jackie Chan movie. "The Adventures of Baron Munchausen" has a lot of 1800's scenic technology featured, too. @steven choate

Can't say that anymore, and come to think of it I have seen some of the sand bags and rope in a couple of films, now I'm going to have to try and remember which ones they were.? Good stuff.
